Our PTSA is made up of hard-working parents, students, and staff who pool their talents to provide practical support for our school. PTSA provides services and programming to boost the community spirit and educational programs of TAG. We help with graduation, after-school clubs, health education, safety, textbooks, community gatherings, and so much more!!

Don't forget to sign up for the Membership Toolkit App!  Parents and students can have all of the features of our new site on their phones.  The PTA and Administration will also use the app to send important/emergency announcements throughout the school year!

TAG benefits from a level of parent support rivaled by few other schools.  Parent support for TAG is  provided chiefly through the Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA).  Among the many ways the PTSA supports TAG are:

Communication.  We keep families apprised of important things happening at TAG through this website as well as our weekly newsletter and other announcements distributed through our private Facebook group.  We also foster community within the TAG family through our annual Fall Picnic, regular PTSA membership meetings and our online School Directory.

Student Activities.  We support student-run activities throughout the year with funding and volunteer support.  We host a school dance in the winter and serve as sponsor to the President's Volunteer Service Awards.  We manage the National PTA Reflections program in the fall, showcasing our students' creative and artistic talents.

Volunteers, Hospitality, Spirit Wear, and Teacher and Staff Appreciation.  We organize volunteers and provide refreshments for a number of school activities, including Flight School in the summer, TAG TRIK in the fall and TAG-IT in the spring.  We sell Spirit Wear to let the TAG family show its school pride.  We provide meals and host appreciation events to let teachers and staff know how much we value everything they do for our students.

Fundraising.  We conduct an annual fundraising campaign to help TAG maintain a world-class program.  These funds pay for PTSA-run activities as well as student activities sponsored by PTSA.  A large share of our budget provides grants for technology not funded by the district, such as Remind and Naviance software.  We also fund teacher requests for instructional needs such as classroom supplies and equipment, curricula, study materials, and more.  We offer faculty scholarships to cover the cost of continuing education course fees.
